Toroidal Universe

The Toroidal Universe was a theory I conceived while at University of Michigan. It postulates that our universe is made entirely of cyclic toroidal energy flow. This also opens up possibilities for the universe to bud off into a dodecahedral toroidal multiverse. I used 3D modeling software to create this toroidal universe/multiverse, then installed the models in a 3D virtual cave at the University. The sound for the project was created by Robert Alexander, a data sonfication specialist. He sonified raw satellite data from deep space and turned them into sounds that were representational of the deep space phenomena. These different sounds were then placed within the 3D model, to add to the sensory experience. The Toroidal Universe Project is still shown at the University, and participants can experience it using a game controller and 3D glasses.
